Reasons for documenting volunteer hours &
donation:
1.) District personnel can accurately measure the outstanding depth of
community activism and parental involvement.
2.) Many grants, state, and federally funded programs require an
accurate reflection of volunteer hours.
3.) It is important to annually report the level of involvement of the
Cy-Fair community to the Superintendent of Schools and the Board of
Trustees.
4.) Verification of business volunteers' participation in volunteer
activities is necessary in order to meet their own corporate community
goals.
5.) Stakeholder participation is one important indicator of a healthy,
supportive community when assessing financial stability of the
district. Bond ratings can be positively influenced by our volunteer
and business partner data which can result in a district savings on the
sale of bonds.
